Wormhole dreamteam
by Nathan on Mar.04, 2010, under EVE
We got access to a lot of c2-3 wormholes in our region and I was thinking of how I would roll in the wormholes considering the collected skills of my two chars.
One can fly armor tanked ships fully T2 fitted and up to including carriers and dreads, the other is the scirmish expert with skills up to and including shield tanked command ships.
My main can fly a Proteus and my alt can fly a Tengu which would be my dream team. Thinking of probing with the Proteus and running sites and DPS with the Tengu, helping out with the Proteus.
Has anyone done this? Are there any decent fittings that arent stupid expensive since I count on loosing some or are there maybe another really sweet combo?

To be honest a well tanked Proteus should be able to solo a level 2 WH without to much of an issue. A Tengu and Proteus is more than enough for level 3 combat sites.
As for fittings well this Proteus would be standard fit for any LVL 2-3 wormholes in my opinion.

Retails at about 600-700mil for ship plus fittings. If you downgrade to all T2 then you will save alot of cash but it won’t tank as well as this one. But if you have the Tengu, well, you won;t need to tank stupid amounts.

Nice, ideally I could see one doubling as a prober/salvager etc and one doing sites with. Probably probing with the proteus and dpsing with the tengu.

I thought some more, first off, I’d love to have cloaks on both ships. Sat and fiddled with the covert ops sub for tengu but the DPS is halved from using the rapid launch one. Maybe just sacrifice a hislot for a cloak and live with the targetting delay?
